General Motors has brought out three brand new engines on their 2014 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado, called Ecotec3. We started the video out with the unveil of the GMC Sierra, because it was so cool, but the heart of the story is the heart of the vehicle, the engine. In this case, there are three all new engines called Ecotec3. Two are V-8s and one V-6 use an advanced combustion system that uses direct fuel injection, cylinder deactivation, and Continuously Variable Valve Timing.
General Motors does not offer turbo or diesel variants.
