Host John Batchelor, welcomed Mike Mansuetti, president, Robert Bosch, LLC, and Lou Ann Hammond, CEO, www.drivingthenation.com, to the John Batchelor radio show. Bosch is bringing many of its divisions to the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV, but there was one concept that Batchelor went wild over when Mansuetti told him about it.
Bosch is creating a storage unit for electricity that they say will be out next year.
Bosch Solar Energy recently introduced its Generation IV, 60-cell monocrystalline solar panel, with higher efficiency and better conversion rates to maximize the power output on consumers’ rooftops initiated a program to help consumers finance the cost of some of the technology recently introduced, further encouraging the importance of investing in solar energy and green living.
A new storage device -5kW – solar panels can power an electric vehicle – or home, with local grid as back-up. Bosch is working on the ability to use this storage system for purifying water as well. Bosch, Loew’s, GM and Habitat or Humanity, have together donated $340K to Sandy hurricane victims.
While Bosch’s mantra is invented for life, we think it should be Integrated into life
