2012 MINI Cooper Coupe and MINI maniacs on Driving the Nation

Nashville, TN – Watch the video as we traverse Nashville as only MINI can do. And, of course, we have to run into MINI maniacs, I mean fans.

The MINI Coupé is the first two-seater in the MINI ranks. The new model further increases the variety within the brands vehicle line-up and, at the same time, offers customers a depth of driving fun unmatched by any rival in the small car segment. The fifth model of the new MINI generation to wear the British brands famous badge represents a reinterpretation of the super-compact sports car category.

The alphabet soup of engineering handling technologies, namely DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) standard, DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) with EDLC (Electronic Differential Lock Control) optional on MCC but standard on the top of the line MINI John Cooper Works Coupe, come inherited from parent company BMW Group. All this clever software electronic connection translates to a handling backbone that sticks to the road with ease, confidence and safety. The MCC suspension and body structure has been modified from the MINI hardtop to compliment the 2012 MINI Cooper Coupe unique stance and shape. This body structure includes the interior’s “helmet roof”, scalloped for 6’4″ motorist such as myself. I think there was room for a helmet on me too.

Watch the car in action as Davis Adams, freelance journalist and Jim McDowell talk about the 2012 MINI Cooper Coupe.
