2014 BMW i3 and i infrastructure on Driving the Nation

Robert Healey, BMW’s North American Infrastructure manager talked to Lou Ann Hammond, CEO, www.drivingthenation.com, about infrastructure for electric vehicles (EV).

The i3 is BMW’s first electric vehicle for purchase in the United States, but it is not the first EV for BMW. Healey talks about the first EVs and what BMW has learned from these cars.

Apartment dwellers in the urban area may not have charging areas to charge their EV in the city. What is BMW doing, who are they partnering with to create charging areas in cities?
