2015 Chevy Express van global unveil

Betsy Flegg, marketing strategy manager for General Motors fleet and commercial general and for the Chevy Express and GMC Savana vans specifically and Dean Perelli, GMC, Chief Engineer for current and next generation vans, talked to Driving the Nation about the newly unveiled Chevy Express van. The 2015 Chevrolet City Express urban work van made it’s global debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. The City Express goes on sale this fall, offering 122.7 cubic feet of customizable cargo space, a tight turning diameter of only 36.7 feet – two feet shorter than the competitors – and an estimated payload capacity of 1,500 pounds.

General Motors U.S. Vice-President Fleet and Commercial Ed Peper introduced the 2015 Chevrolet City Express urban work van at the Chicago auto show, but Driving the Nation got time with Flegg and Perelli for an in-depth look at the interior and exterior of the van. The Chevy Express Van will compete with the Ford Transit Connect van and the Nissan NV200.
