The 2.0-liter Atkinson four-cylinder engine produces 147 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 132 lb. ft. of torque at 4,500 rpm. There will be a second powertrain available in the Spring, 2016. That engine will be an all-new 1.4-liter Kappa turbocharged gasoline direct-injection (GDI) four-cylinder engine available for the Elantra Eco trim.
