2020 Toyota C-HR Limited interior Exterior and Drive
The Toyota C-HR is a cute Subcompact sport utility vehicle SUV with tons of standard technology, including Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) and active safety. It has a modern interior, sporty roof spoiler, halogen headlights, sport-tuned suspension, 60/40 split rear seats, 7-in touch screen display, Dynamic handling, and hidden rear door handles.
The Limited is the top of the line and ups the luxury and technology with LED fog lamps, Adaptive Front Lighting System, piano-black B-pillar trim, heated front seats, 8-way power driver seat adjustment, ambient lighting, chrome window trim, leather-trimmed seats, and an optional Toyota Audio Plus system.
Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is standard on the XLE and Limited models. The Limited grade gets a new 18-inch alloy wheel design.
All C-HR comes with Apple CarPlay compatibility. For 2020, standard Android Auto compatibility completes the smartphone compatible suite. The Limited comes standard with SiriusXM All-Access 3-Month Trial Satellite Radio.
The 2020 Toyota C-HR is as much fun to drive as the 2018 Toyota C-HR was to drive when I drove it around the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) with Koba-San, the chief engineer of the C-HR.
What does C HR stand for in Toyota cars?
The C-HR derives its name from Compact High Rider, Coupe High Rider, or Cross Hatch Run. Initially, the CH-R was going to be a Scion, debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2016. The Coupe High Rider, CH-R, was meant to attract the fun and funky in all of us, with the reliability of the Toyota brand.
Will the 2020 Toyota CHR have AWD?
There is not an all-wheel-drive available on the C-HR; it only comes in front-wheel-drive. C-HR’s powertrain is composed of a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 144 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque and sends it to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission.
