Alan Mulally, Ford Focus, SoCal Edison & hydrogen on Driving the Nation

Alan Mulally is president and chief executive officer of Ford Motor Company. He also is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Mulally was the keynote speaker at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto show press day. Before the speech, Mulally took the time to talk with Lou Ann Hammond.

Mulally talked about Ford’s pilot program with Southern California Edison on Ford’s plug-in electric hybrids. He also talked about the hydrogen Ford Focus that won the Bonneville salts record.

Mulally has a plan on how to close the perception gap on what Ford is accomplishing.
