Wait wait, don’t tell me, NPR as an app on Driving the Nation

Why did NPR build an app, when anyone who has a radio can just press a button and get NPR?

There are hundreds of NPR stations across the country. With this app you can listen to your local NPR station, or a certain NPR segment that you like.

Pretty nice, all things considered.
