Audi executives at the 2010 LA auto show

Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member of the Board AUDI AG, and Johan de Nysschen, President, Audi of America, sat down at the 2010 Los Angeles auto show to talk to me about all things Audi.

I talked to de Nysschen about the Volkswagen Phaeton that will once again make it to the U.S. soil. Is he concerned that the Phaeton is encroaching on Audi territory?

I talked to Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member of the Board AUDI AG, about Audi in China and India. Schwarzenbauer thinks people are still underestimating China, “I think we have to take this quite seriously. I would not be surprised, in 10-15 years, we could see the premium segment coming out of China. Especially in the electric car segment, China is investing a lot of money in this technology.”
