Benoit Jacob on the BMW i concept design on Driving the Nation

Benoit Jacob is the head designer for the new BMW i family, which includes the new BMW green sub-brand MEgaCity Vehicle (MCV). Jacob talked to Lou Ann Hammond, CEO, www.drivingthenation.com, about the carbon fiber BMW i vehicle.

BMW has been creating alternative power sources and combining them with visionary design and materials to create beautiful concepts.

The BMW i uses carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) to lighten the car weight.
