Bentley interior designer on the Continental GT

New York International Auto Show (NYIAS)

Darren J Day is the Senior Interior Designer for Continental. Day met up with Lou Ann Hammond, CEO, www.drivingthenation.com, at the 2011 New York auto show.

Darren Day has loved drawing from an early age.  Day has worked at Bentley since 1994, developing both the exterior and interior of the Continental T and SC and the interior of the State Limousine before specializing in exterior design working on a multitude of projects including the 2004 Arnage.

Day moved to interior design in 2007 to manage a team of designers developing the iconic Continental GT and future Continental interiors. What was the inspiration for the dash of the Continental?

Watch as Day shows off the parts of the car that you can take out of the car for functional use.
