Bosch’s tire changing Ultra-high performance

Details of the new TCE 4435THP tire are:

Tires can be very expensive, especially Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires. Who knew that changing your tire could lead to problems for you, your tire, and your safety. Bosch did. How would you know if there was damage to your tire?

German Rubber Association is the German Certification for tire equipment safety. The WDK procedure allows the operator to change even the most difficult tire (with certified equipment) without damaging the tire or the wheel. Scott Farr, wheel service and equipment business development manager for Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC showed Lou Ann Hammond, CEO, of Driving the Nation the newest invention to remount a tire without damaging the tire and or the wheel.

The Bosch 3-Point helper system is essential for changing UHP configurations as established by the WKD. The Bosch 3-Point helper system is both a wheel and bead saver. Farr says the 3-point helper allows one person to properly clamp the tire without damaging the wheel and still have the accurate alignment required by the WDK.

Pneumatic tilt tower
Extreme structural rigidity for reduced flexion even for the most difficult UHP or RFT.
Tabletop system with 22″ external clamping, 24″ internal clamping
4 position adjustable bead breaker.
Equipped with the TCE 320 Assist Assembly to reduce operator effort on the toughest tire & wheel combinations.

Before you have your tires changed watch this video and make sure your mechanic is adhering to these standards.
