California EPA denied vehicle emissions waiver on KFI640 AM

Lou Ann Hammond and John Batchelor talk about the federal EPA’s decision to deny the auto emissions wavier for California citing the recently passed federal energy bill as cause to stop California’s exemption.

For the first time, states are trying to limit greenhouse gases to prevent climate change, which is recognized as a global issue. California should have received this waiver from the Environmental Protection Agency. It is a historical moment that they didnt, because California has never been denied a waiver before.
