The list has been narrowed down to three in each category, SUV, Truck, and Car of the Year. The next round of voting will result in the Car, Truck and SUV of the Year, which will be announced at the North American International Automobile Show (NAIAS)
The shortlist is the top three at the top of each category, followed by the list of vehicles that we had to choose from.

The North American Car and Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year awards honor excellence in innovation, design, safety, performance, technology, driver satisfaction, and value. Initiated in 1994, the vehicles are judged by approximately sixty professional automotive journalists from the United States and Canada who work for magazines, television, radio, newspapers, and web sites. They are the longest-running award not associated with a specific publication, a structure that produces a diverse base of jurors.
