Chevy Camaro convertible preview

General Motors had such great success with their Cars and Stars at the LA Auto show that they decided to bring a Riverfront Red Carpet ride to Detroit, the night before the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). GM paired seventeen stars, Carmen Electra, Mario Lopez, Cheryl Hines, Jennifer Hudson, Christian Slater, Vivica A. Fox, Petra Nemcova, Danny Masterson, Kristen Bell, Nick Cannon, CariDee, Laird Hamilton, Minka Kelly, Rosie Perez, Gabrielle Reese, Ashley Scott, Rachel Zoe, with seventeen concept cars.

Last year GM showed the Chevy Camaro coupe, so it was only natural that they bring out a topless version. Expect the coupe to comeout in 2009 and the convertible to come out in 2010. Rumor has it, the convertible will be under $20,000
