Ed Welburn, GM’s VP of global design, on car design on Driving the Nation

Edward T. Welburn is General Motors’ Vice President of Global Design. Welburn talked to Lou Ann Hammond, CEO, drivingthenation.com, about design for General Motors.

Welburn has been around the designing world for awhile. He has seen the art and science of designing change. Whether he is creating a smaller, sleeker looking Cadillac ATS, or a beautiful concept Ciel, Welburn is looking at all the lines.

Welburn is heading up design. Underneath that statement are a group of young designers that are getting the chance to create designs like the Cadillac Ciel. Listen as Welburn talks about the Ciel.
