Ford products at the 2009 Detroit auto show

North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Detroit, MI – Carroll Shelby, Bill Ford, Alan Mulally, Mark Fields & Derrick Kuzak all come together to bring out some of Ford’s new products at the 2009 Detroit auto show.

Mulally brought out the Ford Fiesta, telling people that if they wanted to drive a European Fiesta for free go to fiestamovement.com and apply. Derrick Kuzak, group vice president, global product development introduced the Ford Flex with Ecoboost. Ecoboost gives the horsepower of a V-8 and the fuel efficiency of a V-6. Kuzak says that by 2013 Ecobbost will be on 90 percent of Ford products.

Bill Ford brought out the Ford Fusion hybrid was brought out, touting it’s 41 mpg.

Mark fields introduced the 2010 Mustang Carroll Shelby, with Carroll Shelby. The GT500 gets 540 horsepower and 510 ft. lb of torque and still gets 2 more miles per gallon then the predessor.

Lastly, the redesigned Ford Taurus, Ford’s flagship since the ’80s.
