Hummer HX concept unveil

2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS)

Hummer HX concept unveils at the 2008 Detroit auto show. The Hummer HX concept is shorter by approximately 10 inches than the H3, but the HX’s track is slightly wider than the H3, giving it a squat look. The 2008 NAIAS Hummer HX concept unveil of the baby Hummer open-air entry-level-size is supposed to be the off-road green concept.

Known as the Hummer H4, the HX is an open-air, two-door off-road four-wheel-drive car that seats four and competes against the legendary Jeep. It is positioned in the smaller-sized and lower-priced SUV market segments. Development of the H4 began in 2004 and the new model was designed to be the size of the Jeep Wrangler.
