John Mendel at #WAS16 – recalls, fuel cells and electric and hydrogen vehicles

John Mendel was the keynote speaker at the Washington Auto Show (before the blizzard that shut down the entire city) #WAS16 on fuel cells and electric and hydrogen vehicles.

Honda has had to recall many cars because one of its suppliers, Takata, made defective airbags. They have spent millions trying to find all the cars and get them fixed. Wouldn’t it be easier if DMV made the owner get the car fixed before it could be registered again? Honda thinks so

With the fuel prices being so low will Honda be able to meet its Zero Emission Vehicle requirements set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB)?

If you own a Honda and want to know if your car has been recalled click on this link and put your VIN number in the box.
