L’Esprit des Marques 2011 Geneva auto show
Lights, Camera, artists, and cars – L´Esprit des Marques was the aptly French name for Volkswagen’s Group Evening the eve of the 2011 Geneva auto show. Journalists from all over the world squeezed into the Halle de Sacheron to see the Volkswagen Groups’ spectacular display of artists and artfully designed cars.
Every brand chairman had brought something special to Geneva.
Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, presented the Technology Carrier Audi TTS Urban Mobility.
Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber, Speaker for the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand, presented the Multivan Edition 25.
James Muir, President, and CEO of Seat S.A. presented the Seat IBX Concept.
Prof. Dr. Winfried Vahland, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skoda Auto, presented the concept Vision D.
Volkswagen’s newest, and best, acquisition this year was Italdesign and Giugiaro. Giorgetto Giugiaro, Head of Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A, Stephan Grahsem, Head of Group Communications Volkswagen Group, and Walter de Silva, Head of Group Design Volkswagen AG, presented the Study Tex.
Matthias MÃ¼ller, Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche AG, presented the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid.
