Lights, Camera, artists and cars – L´Esprit des Marques was the aptly French name for Volkswagen’s Group Evening the eve of the 2011 Geneva auto show. Journalists from all over the world squeezed into the Halle de SÃ©cheron to see the Volkswagen Groups spectacular display of artists and artfully designed cars.

Volkswagen’s newest, and best, acquisition this year was Italdesign and Giugiaro. Giorgetto Giugiaro, Head of Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A, Stephan GrÃ¼hsem, Head of Group Communications Volkswagen Group, and Walter de Silva, Head of Group Design Volkswagen AG, presented the Study Tex.
Wolfgang DÃ¼rheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bentley Motors, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bugatti S.A., presented the Bentley Supersports Convertible Ice Speed Record.
Matthias MÃ¼ller, Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche AG, presented the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid.
