John Batchelor radio show

CNBC’s Larry Kudlow and John Batchelor, host of the John Batchelor radio show, talked to me about the pre Los Angeles auto show parties and the General Motors IPO.
Kudlow asked about the Volt, and of course the tax credit.
The first event I went to was a Ford Ecoboost with thirteen cars in fuel leading segments, then off to a Rolls-Royce party on Rodeo Dr at the designer Bijan’s showroom.
Kudlow and Batchelor caught up to me just as I arrived at the Cadillac design center.

Barb Samardzich is Ford’s vice president of global product programs

Barb Samardzich is Ford’s vice president of global product programs. She is also one of the women that make up fifteen percent of women in production and manufacturing for Ford.
Samardzich says Ford is in line with their projections to sell 1.5 million a year worldwide by 2013. That will happen courtesy of Ford’s four-cylinder 1.6- and 2.0-liter engines EcoBoost engines that are already on sale in Europe.
