Is the Magna backup camera the best backup camera? Akinyele Ikuseru, Magna’s system engineer shows off the 2017 Ford Super Duty with Trailer Reverse Guidance System. You can see the trailer through the NAV system as well as the trajectory of the trailer as the steering wheel is turned.
The system is supported by Magna’s multi-patented EYERIS driver-assistance technology developed jointly by Magna and Ford Motor Company. There are three high-resolution cameras that create a 360-degree view along with a color-coded diagram of the truck to warn the driver of potential jackknife conditions.
The 2017 Ford F-series Super Duty pickup is in the running for the North American Truck of the Year NACTOY, which will be announced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, MI.
