Mark Fields, Ford President of the Americas

Mark Fields is Executive Vice President, Ford Motor Company; President, The Americas and an executive of the Ford Motor Company. Fields was a guest on the John Batchelor radio show, along with John Avlon, CNN, and myself.

Is the United States, and Ford, ahead of where Fields thought we would be now?

Is there good will towards Ford for not taking the bailout funds?

We talk about the electrification of Ford’s vehicles and the North American Truck of the year winner, the Ford Explorer.

Avlon is a Mustang guy, so he wants to know what the plans for the future Mustang is.

Fields talked about the New Explorer, the fuel economy and NACTOY award.

Fields talks about the breakeven for Ford and how well they will do at a 12-13 million vehicle sales for 2011.
