General Motors North America President Mark Reuss took some time to talk to Lou Ann Hammond, CEO, Reuss talked about the ATS.

Cadillac introduced the 2013 ATS at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) as an all-new compact luxury sports sedan intended to challenge the world’s best premium cars. Reuss said that the ATS is developed on an all-new lightweight vehicle architecture.  Cadillac will put the ATS on sale this summer.

Is it lighter than it’s competitors?

The Cadillac ATS will have an option of three engines, 2.0-liter turbo direct injection VVT, 2.5-liter inline-4 direct injection VVT, 3.6-liter V-6 direct-injection VVT. A diesel variant and a manual transmission will also be available.
