Headphones work great. Put on a podcast (hey, do Warren and Lou Ann do a podcast?) and don’t worry about it.

Lou Ann Hammond :

I don’t like the idea of noise-canceling headphones in a car. You need to hear the noise around you in order to know if there is a collision, a fire truck an ambulance or police coming up behind/side of you.

We don’t do podcasts, but I own (you can like my Facebook) and do video interviews. I also guest on the John Batchelor radio show. All of those are on If you want to hear just the audio portion you can find them underdriving the nation on aha radio.
