January 7, 2005 – Lou Ann Hammond discusses Ford releasing the Mercury Mariner hybrid because of the overwhelming response of the Escape hybrid.

The 2005 Detroit Auto show brought out the concept diesel-hybrids and a merger of hybrid technology between General Motors and Daimler Chrysler
