Everyone wanted a minute with Micheal Austin, the VP of BYD America. Warren Brown, Washington Post, and I got ten minutes to hear what BYD was up to in 2011.

BYD Auto is a Chinese automobile manufacturer based in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China,established in 2003. Warren Buffet owns 9.9 percent of BYD.

BYD brought out their green dreams, the Green City Solutions, the green-technology vehicles including the 2012 e6-Eco, world premiere S6DM, low-carbon version F3DM and the core drive technology of the pure-electric bus K9, and a portfolio of eco-friendly products covering solar panels, home energy storage unit’s and energy-saving LED Lighting.
