Porsche at the 2011 New York auto show

Michael Bartsch, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Porsche, talked to Lou Ann Hammond, CEO,, at the 2011 New York auto show.

Porsche unveiled the  380-hp Panamera S Hybrid at an asking price of $95000.

But the real show stopper was the $750,000 reproduction of the series hybrid Ferdinand Porsche built-in 1900. The reproduction is an open car with no doors.

Porsche is bringing out 4-door sedans, and hybrids. Why?

What will Porsche bring out in the near future, and why are they in a “quiet period”?
