Modena, Italy – Maserati race car driver Ivan Capelli is an Italian former race car driver, with nearly 100 Formula One Grand Prix starts, debuting on 6 October 1985. He stood on the podium three times and scored a total of 31 championship points.

From 1998 until 2017 he was an F1 commentator on the Italian TV station Rai Uno and an instructor at the Master Maserati driving school.
