Under the tutelage of Sebastian Thrun, Professor of Computer Science and director of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Stanford University, The Stanford Racing Team won the DARPA Grand Challenge in 2005, with it’s robotic VW Touareg “Stanley.”

Sebastian talks about safety versus speed in urban areas and how the future applications of this technology will save military and civilian lives.
