Thousands of people attended a party in Monterey, California, during the Monterey Car Week. The precious Italian parmesan and Italian wines flowed generously. In a corner, tucked out of the way, was a book. I probably would not have noticed it, but the gold on the book cover just happened to glint in my eye as the sunset. The book is the DNA Lamborghini, a rare masterpiece created by the D’oro Collection. It should have been the centerpiece of the party.

Salvatore Giorgio DINO, CEO of the D’ORO Collection, said his company would create only 250 of the handmade books. Dino’s company has the expertise to make this book; they have created books for Popes and Presidents. Each book is handcrafted, and each page is hand made and stitched together by hand.

There are over three hundred pages written and edited by Antonio Ghini and illustrated by Mitja Borkert, the Head of Design at Lamborghini Centro Stile. Dino passionately and proudly tells the story of the DNA book of Lamborghini. Each book is signed by the founder of Automobili Lamborghini Ferruccio Lamborghini, and CEO of Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali.

In the middle of our interview, the CEO of Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali, popped in to talk about the book. You can see the delight in Dino’s face as Domenicali describes his enthusiasm for the book.
