2009 VW Tiguan crossover unveiling

Last November, at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show Volkswagen unveiled a concept called the VW Tiguan. There were tale-tale signs that made us sure that it would become a production vehicle.

Tiguan will be based priced at $22,490 and will be available in the United States Volkswagen dealerships in Summer 2008.  The Tiguan shares the same engine as the Volkswagen GTI. The 2.0L TFSI turbocharged engine with a four-cylinder power plant delivers 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque.

The new 2009 VW Tiguan is 173.2 inches long, 72.8 inches wide, and 66.5 inches high. A flexible interior package includes second-row. The Volkswagen Tiguan SEL with FWD, Roof Rack, DVD, Keyless Entry, Fog Lights, Leather Seats, Heated Seats, Cargo Cover.
