Wait wait, don’t tell me, NPR as an app

There’s an APP for that

Lou Ann Hammond, the CEO, www.drivingthenation.com, talked to Demian Perry, NPR digital media director at a 2013 Ford Mustang convertible ride and drive.

Why did NPR build an app, when anyone who has a radio can just press a button and get NPR?

There are hundreds of NPR stations across the country. With this app, you can listen to your local NPR station or a certain NPR segment that you like.

Pretty nice, all things considered.
