Good Morning Warren and friends

Warren and I were in Detroit most of this week at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

The winners of the car and truck of the year (NACTOY) were the Ford F-150 and your hometown favorite, The Volkswagen Golf series.

2015 Car and Truck of the Year on Driving the Nation

It was nice to see a convergence of beautiful, smartly designed performance cars interlaced with fuel effieciency. Honda brought out a fuel cell vehicle, along with the new Honda Jet. Across the hall their sister, Acura, brought out the Acura NSX. Stunning

Ford surprised everyone with the Ford GT. Mercedes brought the F 015 futuristic concept fuel cell from the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to Detroit along with a gorgeous GLE450 AMG SPORT COUPE/AMG GLE63 coupe and a C350 phev. Volvo unveiled their 7-passenger XC90 plug-in hybrid too. BMW unveiled their new 6series.

Jaguar Land Rover unveiled a clean-diesel Range Rover HSE Td6 and Range Rover Sport HSE Td6 debut in U.S.; on sale in 2015. The Jaguar F-PACE performance crossover will join Jaguar lineup in 2016 and the Jaguar XE was brought out at NAIAS 2015.

Bentley will have a crossover that will compete with Porsche. Porsche brought out the 911 TARGA 4 GTS and the Cayenne Turbo S.
