Will Mark Reuss stay at GM? Let’s ask him

By Lou Ann Hammond

Mark Reuss was appointed Executive VP of Global Product Development, Purchasing & Supply Chain of GM on Jan 14, 2014, but Reuss was in the vying for CEO for General Motors. At the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) I asked Reuss if he was going to stay with General Motors.

It would not be unheard of for Reuss to leave. When Ford brought Alan Mulally into the C-Suite instead of Mark Fields or Anne Stevens, Stevens left. She wanted the CEO spot and found it else wheres. Carlos Traverse let it be known that he wanted to be a CEO and Nissan’s Carlos Ghosn showed him the door, while PSA opened their door for Traverse.

Is Reuss happy? Will he leave? Has he been getting calls from headhunters? If you don’t think headhunters are calling him watch the video, watch his response.
