William "Bill" Ford on alternative power sources and the environment on Driving the Nation

William “Bill” Clay Ford is the Executive Chairman of Ford Motor Company.

I asked Ford a couple questions.

Analysts are predicting that 10-25 percent of the cars sold will be alternative power source by 2020-2025. Are we ready for that many alternative power source vehicles?

Recently Bill Ford was the keynote speaker at the Intelligent Transport System in Orlando, FL. What was Ford’s take away from that symposium?

When I asked Ford why he cares about the environment so much I was pretty sure it was going to be because of the air pollution or getting off the dependence of foreign oil. But it wasn’t.
